The fine print, in plain English

Simple rules. Fair spotlight.

BidLinkedIn is a public, paid leaderboard for LinkedIn profiles. You bid to sit above other handles — and your bid is the only thing that decides where you land.

How ranking works

One number decides everything: your total bid.

  • The board is sorted purely by total bid, highest first. There is no hidden algorithm, no reach score and no time decay.
  • A new listing can start anywhere from $1 up to $999,999. Bids are whole dollars in USD.
  • To take the #1 spot you need at least $1 more than the current top bid — that is $90 right now. A smaller amount is still accepted and simply claims the best rank that amount can reach.
  • If two profiles hold the exact same total, the one whose payment completed first ranks higher.
  • Your rank is not a purchase of permanent position. Anyone can outbid you at any time, and your listing stays on the board at its new rank.
02

Raising an existing listing

Already on the board? You only top up the difference.

  • Enter the same handle again on the bid page. It is recognised as a raise instead of a new listing.
  • The new total must be at least $1 higher than your current total.
  • You pay only the difference between your new total and your existing total, never the full amount again.
  • Your original listing keeps its description, follower count and click history.
03

What you can list

Real profiles only.

  • A valid public LinkedIn handle: 1–30 characters, using letters, numbers, dots, underscores or hyphens. You can paste the handle, the @handle, or the full profile URL.
  • Only a profile you own or are authorised to promote.
  • Not allowed: illegal activity, hate or harassment, sexual content involving minors, impersonation, scams, misleading claims, or malware.
  • A listing that breaks these rules can be hidden or removed, and a removed listing is not refunded.
  • Listing a profile never transfers ownership of it. The board only shows a link to it.
04

Payment and placement

A rank is created by a confirmed payment, not by opening checkout.

  • Checkout is handled by Cashfree Payments. BidLinkedIn never receives or stores your card details.
  • A listing is placed or raised only when a signed successful-payment notification arrives from the gateway. Starting checkout does not reserve a rank.
  • Bids are non-refundable. The exposure is delivered the moment your profile appears on the board, even if someone outbids you later.
  • If someone else's payment lands just before yours, your amount is still credited in full and you receive the best rank available at the time it is processed.
  • Failed or abandoned payments create no listing and are never charged.
05

Clicks and stats

What the numbers on the board actually mean.

  • Tracked clicks counts visits sent from your row to your LinkedIn profile. Outbound links pass through a redirect so the click can be counted.
  • Watching now is live on-page activity, and visitors is the all-time count of unique devices that have opened the board.
  • Follower counts are supplied by whoever creates the listing and are shown for context only — they are not verified against LinkedIn.
  • Stats are indicative, not a billing metric. Nothing you pay depends on them.
